JIGB are the first letters of Japanese Internet Gospel Broadcasting. This home page is to inform Japanese around the world about the Lord Jesus Christ who is revealed in the Bible.   Psalm 50:15 in the Bible states: “Call on me in the day of trouble. I will deliver you, and you will glorify me.” People seem happy on the outside, but inside are experiencing many problems. The philosopher, Pascal said: “Inside every person is a “god-shaped” space that only God can fill.” Princess Diana, who died in an auto crash on August 31, 1997, said: “I pretend to look happy on the outside, but I cannot stand to stay alone at night.” Princess Diana was a very famous and wealthy lady; however, she was one of the loneliest persons in the world   The purpose of this home page is to present the words of love from the God who became a human (Philippians 2:6) in the person of Jesus Christ. If, in your heart, you welcome Him, you too will be filled with love, joy, peace, and can begin a new life. So, please listen to the Bible’s words of love through this home page. Thank you for accessing it.   THE  THINGS  PEOPLE  NEED  MOST   PEACE               How about you?  What do you need most in 2008?   A better job, better health, success in school, peace in your family?     Your list of needs is probably much longer.               How about real peace in your heart?  Would you like a peace that provides a sense of contentment and well-being?                There is someone that offers genuine peace and contentment.  That someone is Jesus.  He said, “Peace I leave with you, my peace I give you.  I do not give to you as the world gives.”  (John 14:27 – New Testament)   The peace the “world gives” depends on how things are going in your life.  If everything is going OK, you may have peace.  If the opposite is true, inner peace is rare.                Jesus’ peace is different.  Even when things go bad, He can give you peace.  You see, when He died on the cross He was being punished for your sins.   Then, He rose from the dead.  It’s true!  Many people saw it happen and they wrote about it in the Bible. (The New Testament Gospels)  Because of what Jesus has done, God has forgiven your sins.  Knowing and believing that brings peace.  Knowing and believing He is alive to always be with you provides peace.                Do you need peace?   Ask Jesus.  He will hear you ask and He will answer.  That’s why He came – to give you genuine peace.  If you want to know more about this Jesus, contact Pastor Shigeru Masaki at jigbmasaki@yahoo.co.jp
